It is the field of the future that will replace microelectronics and many fields with tremendous application potential in the areas of medicine, electronics and material science. The next 10 years will see nanotechnology playing the most dominant role in the global business environment and is expected to go beyond the billion dollar estimates and cross the figure of $1 trillion. Innovation in frontline areas such as nanotechnogy is critical to India’s knowledge future.
