Its so simple. Sleep well and eat well before you donate blood. The actual procedure takes just about 5-7 minutes. All they take is between 250-350 ml of blood. You should be between 16 & 60 years of age, and weigh above 45kg. The haemoglobin count should be above 12.5gm/dl. You shouldnot have any illness or disease. You should be off antibiotics or painkillers for 48 hours prior to donation. June 14 is universally celebrated as the “World Blood Donor Day” because it is the birthday of Nobel Laureate Karl Landsteiner who discovered the ABO blood group system. JUST DO IT AND FEEL GOOD….
